PURPOSE:To display the state of operation of a VTR from the camera side wirelessly and to enable the reproduction monitor of the VTR by providing a wireless transmitter and a wireless receiver in a video camera and a video tape recorder VTR respectively. CONSTITUTION:The wireless transmitter and wireless receiver are provided in the video camera and VTR respectively. When recording a picture, reproduction signals and operation signals, i.e. video signals, voice signals and remote control signals, are modulated to TV waves by wireless, ultrasonic wave, etc. by an RF converter incorporated in the camera and the wireless transmitter made up of a power amplifier, and sent to the VTR. The VTR develops them to video signals, voice signals and operation signals necessary for picture recording by a built-in receiver and operates the VTR. When reproducing, remote control signals are modulated by operation of the video camera side, and a transmitter incorporated in the VTR is operated, and TV waves are modulated by reproduced video signals, voice signals and remote control signals and sent to the camera side. The camera side develops them to video signals, voice signals and operation signals necessary for reproduction by the built-in receiver.
