PURPOSE:To make widthwise positioning for various reed frames ever so easy, by expanding the width of a guide frame a little wider than that of a reed frame in time of transfer of the reed frame, while letting the guide frame width accord with the reed frame one in time of operation, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a device is set in motion, each width of guide rails 1 and 2 is set to the width of a reed frame according to types of a reed frame 3 being set to a frame feed part 15. Alteration in this width takes place in the following procesure that a motor 6 is driven by a controlling part 17, then each of screw shafts 11a and 11b is rotated via belts 9a and 9b, and the guide rail 2 at the movable side is shifted to the guide rail 1 at the fixed side. Next, in time of conveying mode judgement, guide rail width is expanded as far as the specified value and thereby conveyance of the reed frame 3 is made to be done smoothly. And, when the conveyance is stopped as arriving at the specified operation position, the guide rail width is made to accord with the reed frame width whereby widthwise positioning for the reed frame 3 is performed. |
