PURPOSE:To obtain a distinct picture image in a transfer system electrostatic recording body which forms a latent image with a single side control type multistylus, even for a wide breadth recording body, by specifying the surface resistance of an insulating layer, resistance layer, and a dielectric layer. CONSTITUTION:A conductive substrate is constituted of an insulative substrate 11 such as plastic film and an electroconductive layer 12 provided thereon. The surface resistance of the conductive substrate is necessary to be <=1X10<4>OMEGA. The resistance layer comprises a layer of metal or metal oxide such as Pt, SnO2, InO2, etc., or a layer contg. dispersed electroconductive fine powder such as carbon in a binder. The surface resistance is necessary to be 1X10<6>-1X10<9>OMEGA. High molecular material such as acrylic resin, polyester resin, polyurethane resin, butyral resin, polyamide resin, polycarbonate resin is useful for the insulating layer. The surface resistance thereof is necessary to be >=1X10<10>OMEGA. Similar high molecular material such as useful for the insulating layer 5 is also useful for the dielectric layer 3, but the surface resistance is necessary to be >=1X 10<11>OMEGA. and the preferred film thickness is 2-20mum. |
