PURPOSE:To enable reduction in unnecessary vibration of a pipe by mounting an ultrasonic wave oscillation source in a cylinder having a hole on the side wall thereof. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave oscillation source 12' is mounted into a cylinder 11 having holes 13 and 13' on the side wall thereof at the position on the center axis of the cylinder 11 as well as the center axis of the holes 13 and 13'. Whe this cylinder 11 is inserted into a pipe 1 buried in the ground 4 to perform an ultrasonic flaw detection of the ground 4, the ultrasonic wave to the pipe 1 is only limited to apart thereof from the oscillation source 12' passing through the holes 13 and 13'. Thus unnecessary vibration of the pipe 1 due to ultrasonic wave can be reduced. |
