PURPOSE:To control line pressure with good accuracy according to a speed change ratio by detecting the axial movement of a pulley, which is input as a speed change ratio signal to a line pressure escape valve, and switching a cut- back valve when the speed change ratio is large. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a line pressure escape valve 102 for controlling oil pressure according to a displacement of a member mechanically following the axial movement of a pulley, and a cut-back valve 108 operated by an electric actuator 110 for controlling a high-speed control valve 106. The cut-back valve 108 is connected in such a manner as to switch the feed and discharge of oil pressure to ports 146a-146f which change the regulated pressure of the line pressure escape valve 102, so that when the electric actuator 110 works upon the side larger than a designated speed change ratio, the cut-back valve is switched to the side for increasing the pressure regulated of the line pressure escape valve. |
