PURPOSE:To permit to enlarge degree of freedom for selecting the generating position of ignition signal by inserting a capacitor charging circuit into a voltage responsive conduction circuit. CONSTITUTION:The voltage responsive conduction circuit 44, conducted by a voltage higher than a generating voltage in a charging coil 1 upon short-circuit of a capacitor charging coil 1 and lower sufficiently than a high voltage induced in the charging coil upon intercepting a short-circuit circuit, is inserted into the charging circuit for a capacitor. According to this method, the output of the charging coil is prevented from being short-circuited by a semi-conductor switching element even when an ignition signal is being generated upon short-circuit of the charging coil. Further, degree of freedom for selecting the generating position of the ignition signal may be enlarged. Furthermore, when the voltage, which conducts the voltage responsive conduction circuit, is set higher than a no- load voltage generated in the charging coil subsequent to a high voltage induced upon intercepting the short-circuit circuit, the ignition signal may be generated in any position except a time when the high voltage of short time is induced upon intercepting the short-circuit circuit. |
