Fibre-reinforced plastic composite body and process and device for the production thereof

Reinforced plastic composite bodies which have a non-constant longitudinal cross-section, so that a first section of the body has a different cross-section than a second section of the body and these sections together integrally form a whole. In one embodiment, the body can have a non-constant cross-section with a constant cross-sectional volume over its length. In another embodiment, the body can have a non-constant cross-sectional shape and a non-constant cross-sectional volume over its length. A device and a process which uses a cavity having a cavity channel of non-constant cross-sectional shape is arranged here. In the device are used a pair of first and second cavity-shaping arrangements which in one or in both of the cavity-shaping arrangements form a cavity channel which has a first section with a cross-sectional shape which differs over the length of the cavity channel from the cross-sectional shape of the second cavity channel section.
