A contacting ring for installation between the ends of the RF line sections which are to be connected consists of a spring-plate annular disc 10 which is provided with graduation markings 14 and 16 on the inner and outer edges respectively. These graduation markings are formed by interlaced teeth 18 and 20 respectively, between which there are incisions 22, 24 which are chamfered in order to reduce the notch effect. Between the inner graduation marking 14 and the holes 12 which are used for pushing flange connecting bolts through, in each case one sealing ring 28, 30 is vulcanised-on on both sides, which sealing rings are connected to one another via webs which pass through holes 32 in the annular disc and are formed during the vulcanising process. <IMAGE>
