Electric angular resolver

An electric angular resolver for electronic adjustment and control devices such as for example for natural gas, is proposed which is to be actuated by the accelerator pedal of a motor vehicle. The angular resolver (10) is to be simple in design and capable of being manufactured in a rational fashion while taking into account the requirements placed on it. For this purpose, a frictional coupling consisting of a spring shaft disc (54) on the housing floor (16a) is arranged in a pot-shaped signal generator housing (16), the said disc (54) interacting with a ring wheel (58) on the generator shaft (12) which, together with a receptacle body (21) seated on the generator shaft (12) is to be inserted into the signal generator housing. The receptacle body (21) bears two restoring springs (26, 27) which are arranged concentrically one on top of the other and engage with their free end in a bearing flange (28) which is inserted at the open end side of the generator housing (16). The end side is terminated by a housing cover (34) which bears a potentiometer (38) for the generation of an electrical set value of the angular resolver (10). The angular resolver (10) can be used for motor vehicle drives with internal combustion engines and with electric motors to the same degree.
