PURPOSE:To correct the change in the temps. of an object to be measured and a sensor part, by providing a temp. correcting member having a surface to be measured, which is corrected by a temp. correcting sensor, in the leading end direction of said sensor and covering said temp. correcting member with a measuring member in a detachable manner. CONSTITUTION:The constitutional part of a measuring sensor 18, which is fixed to a holding jig 19 at a place leaving a definite distance from the measuring member 14 provided to the certain one surface of a displacement measuring provided to the certain one surface of a displacement measuring target with a temp. corrector fixed to an attachment stand 17 is put in a thermostatic tank along with an object 10 to be measured and a temp. is raised. Whereupon, analogue output, which is the sum of the inductance change amount of the coil in a temp. correcting sensor 11, the thermal expansion amount of the temp. correcting sensor 11 itself and the thermal expansion amount of a fixing jig 12, is generated from the temp. correcting sensor 11. Further, analogue output, which is the sum of the thermal expansion amount of the object 10 to be measured, that of the measuring sensor 18 itself and that of the holding jig 19, is generated from the measuring sensor 18. The difference of two analogue outputs is detected by a differential amplifier 22 to calculate the change amount of the object 10 to be measured due to thermal expansion.
