PURPOSE:To improve absorbing efficiency of a laser beam by providing a reflecting means which reflects the laser beam reflected from the surface of a work and irradiates the same again to the surface of the work to the tip of a nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 2 emitted from a laser oscillator is condensed by a condenser lens so as to focus near the surface 5 of a work. Part of the laser beam 2 irradiated to the surface 5 is absorbed into the work and heats the work but the greater part of the remaining laser beam reflects on the surface 5. The laser beam 7 reflected by the surface 5 is irradiated to a reflecting mirror 6 provided to a nozzle 4 and is again reflected by said mirror so as to be irradiated as a laser beam 8 to the work 5. The irradiating rate of the beam to the surface 5 is thus increased and the absorption efficiency is improved. |
