PURPOSE:To simplify the diagnosis of a cache memory based on a program by having no replacement of the reference record and confirming that the reference record on a page containing the access data is not replaced yet, in case a cache memory contains the access data. CONSTITUTION:A main memory 13 which is divided into pages and controlled is connected to a connector 12 holding the reference record. A processor 11 is connected to the connector 12. The processor 11 includes a cache memory 14, an address conversion buffer 15 which stores a pair of the logical address information and the read address information, and a deciding means for replacement of the reference record. The replacement of the reference record is not carried out when the memory 14 contains no access data. Then a deciding means decides that the reference record on a page containing the access data is not replaced yet in response to a data access. |
