PURPOSE:To enhance storage stability, water resistance, etc., by forming a diazo photosensitive layer of 2-layer structure composed essentially of a diazo compd. and a coupling component on a support and incorporating a specified benzotriazole deriv. in the layer on the side of the support. CONSTITUTION:The present binary type diazo copying material is obtained by forming two diazo photosensitive layers composed essentially of a diazo compd. and a coupling component directly on a support or interposing a precoat layer on it, and incorporating, in the layer on the side of the support, at least one kind of benzotriazole compds. represented by formulae I and II in which R1 is CH3, C2H5, CH2OH, or C2H4OH; R2 is H, or same as R1; X is CH3, OH, OR3, halogen, or sulfo; and R3 is CH3 or C2H5. |
