Hydraulic or pneumatic working cylinder comprising a cylinder (11) and in this a moving piston (12) with a piston head (13) and a piston rod (14). En intake chamber (20) and an outlet chamber (18) are mutually separated by the piston head and are connected with an inlet (22) and an outlet (21) for bringing pressurized fluid to and from the respective chambers. A device for damping the piston motion when the piston reaches its outer end position including a divided damping chamber (27) from this position in the outlet chamber which via a choke (28) is connected with the outlet. In order to reduce the dampening pressure in the damping chamber, a valve (33, 34) is arranged in a passage (31, 29, 42) between the intake chamber and the outlet. A switch-over device (43, 35) is arranged at the valve for opening of this and with the passage when a pre-determined amount of pressure is attained in the damping chamber.<IMAGE> |
