<p>The modular section for shelving, especially in shops, is designed to give adequate strength and stability. The section is made of thin sheet metal in which are deep, side, reinforcement grooves extending below the stacking surface. The grooves constitute the m eans by which the section is interlocked with other, identical modular sections. A central reinforcement groove has, on its base and two sides, a curve or shape identical to that of the side, interlocking grooves. The modular sections are intended for wooden shelves, with the frames made of tubular iron and such materials. The surfaces are varnished, or covered with plastics, zinc, chromium or other coating.</p> |
