发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING RUN POSITION OF VEHICLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the accurate current run position of the vehicle by handling the position that information on the absolute current run position information of the vehicle in a photodetection signal indicates as the positive-valued ralative current run position calculated from the yaw angular speed and run distance. CONSTITUTION:The yaw angular speed and run distance of the vehicle are detected by a yaw rate sensor 10 and a run distance detector 12 to calculate the relative current run position 110 of the vehicle based upon a reference run position. An optical signal detector 14 receives the optical signal 104 containing the absolute current run position information 106 on the vehicle which is transmitted from an optical signal transmitter provided by a road. A current run position arithmetic circuit 16 handles the position that the information 106 in the signal 104 indicates as the positive-valued position 110 of the vehicle. Then, direction difference calculated by a direction difference calculating circuit 48 is added to the advance direction of the vehicle at a specific direction correction position to calculates the initial advance direction at the absolute current run position. Then, the integral run distance is multiplied through an integral distance correction correcting circuit 28 by the coefficient of correction calculated by a distance correction coefficient calculating circuit 50 to obtain the accurate relative current run position 110.
