PURPOSE:To vary the multiplying force characteristic by making the pressure receiving area of the output shaft coupled to the power piston of pneumatic multiplier against a reaction disc variable. CONSTITUTION:A reaction disc 14 is held by a power piston 4 for defining the multiplier body 1 into two chambers A, B while an output shaft 15 is arranged in front of the disc 14. The input shaft 10 arranged in the rear of the disc 14 is operated to function a poppet valve 13 thus to produce the differential pressure between said chambers A, B and to push the output shaft 15 forward through a power piston 4. Here, the output shaft 15 is constructed with an output shaft body 16 supported rotatably and a ring member 18 to be fitted dismountably from the output shaft body over the rear end flange section 17 to enable changeover of engagement between them 16, 18 through changeover mechanism 23 thus to constitute a variable pressure receiving area means 26. |
