PURPOSE:To enable a collector to be independent from a waveguide passage by providing an electric wave reflector between an electron beam collector and a resonance cavity in order to transfer the electric wave. CONSTITUTION:Supposing that a figure of an electromagnetic wave generated in a resonance cavity 4 is TEon provided that (n) is a positive integral number, the conversion into the linear poralization as well as the conversion of the electric wave advance direction is performed generally by cutting an opening of a cylindrical waveguide tube part 8 obliquely while joining it together with a reflector 9 having a reflection face tangential to a parabolic column. In the case shown by the figure, the electric wave advances in the direction of the output tubes 10 and 7. An electron beam is guided by a magnetic field generated by means of a magnetic field generation coil 3c so as to be advanced without colliding with the members 8 and 9 for being collected by an electron beam collector with an expanded heat receiving area widened in a horn shape. Further, not only the reflector having the reflection face tangential to the parabolic column but also the reflection face tangential to the ellipsoidal column can be used for the refelctor 9, whereby the focusing effect of the electromagnetic wave beam of the linear polarization can be improved. |
