<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate creases from a sheet material, by a method wherein the sheet material is put upon a core material through a cushion material, the core material and the cushion material are joined with each other by pressing a circumferential part of the sheet material by a heating unit whose width is narrow and the fringe part of the sheet material is joined with the back of the core material by folding back the fringe part. CONSTITUTION:A sheet material 6 is put upon a core material 4 through a cushion material 5, and the cushion material 5 directly below the sheet material 6 is molded into a hollow shape by pressing a circumferential part of the core material 4, where it is a little inward from the external fringe of the same, by a heating unit 9 whose width is narrow. In this instance, simultaneously with heating adhesion is performed by providing a layer 11 of an adhesive agent between the core material 4 and the cushion material 5 and then the fringe part 6a is joined with the back of the core material 4 by folding back the fringe part 6a of the sheet material 6 to the back of the core material 4. With this construction, a boardlike article over which the sheet material has been stretched beautifully can be manufactured easily without necessitating hard work that the fringe part is secured while the sheet material is being pulled.</p> |
