PURPOSE:To arrange so that no blur occurs on a recorded picture during a lap recording by providing a means to supply for application of a solvent corresponding to each one of plural recording materials and melting only the corresponding recording materials with each solvent while other recording materials are left unresolved. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 300 is coated with a solvent 614 by an application roller 611 of a solvent application supply device 610 and then is pressed against a recording material 120 of a transfer element 100 by a pressure recording part 130. After this process, the recording medium 300 receives a transfer of records from a cyanic color recording material corresponding to a solvent 614 by a thermal head 400 to which a picture signal 41 is applied. Next, the recording medium 300 which was once wound by a takeup roll 522 is wound back and applied with a solvent 624 by a solvent application supply device 620 after a solvent application supply device system 600 is turned by one third. After this step, a mazenda color recording material 120 is overlapped and a solvent 634 is likewise applied by a solvent application supply device 630 to the recording medium on which a yellow color recording material 120 is transferred. Thus a color picture is recorded. |
