PURPOSE:To obtain a composition crosslinkable by conventional means capable of giving crosslinked products with good crosslinking chracteristics, by incorporating a specific (modified) chlorinated polyolefin copolymer with a modifying agent consisting of alkali metal salt, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) a chlorinated polyolefin copolymer which is a chlorinated product from copolymer derived from alpha-olefin acid and maleic anhydride, with a chlorination degree 5-50wt or a modified chlorinated polyolefin copolymer prepared by modification of the acid anhydride groups in the original copolymer mentioned above into dicarboxylic acid and/or its half ester with (B) a modifying agent consisting of salt (base) of metal selected from alkali metals, alkaline earth ones and transition metals (e.g. NaOH) so that the amount of the component (B) represents 0.5-5mol times the acid anhydride group or sum of the acid anhydride group and modified one in the component (A).
