PURPOSE:To execute easily andexactly measurement by detecting an oscillation frequency component of a shock generated between foreign matters and a plate- shaped member, integrating a component of a prescribed frequency area corresponding to the foreign matter, and expressing it in terms of weight. CONSTITUTION:A detecting part 4 consisting of a diaphragm 41, an elastic body 42 and a fitting base 43 is placed at a prescribed head in the carrying end part of a carrying conveyor (omitted in the figure), and an output of a shock detector 44 provided in the detecting part 4 is inputted to an arithmetic circuit 55 through an amplifier 51, a filter 52, an eliminating circuit 53 of a noise, etc., and a linearizer 54, of a weight arithmetic display part 5. Subsequently, a prescribed frequency component corresponding to foreign matters 2 is outputted by the filter 52, inputted to the circuit as an output proportional to weight of the foreign matters 2 by eliminating a noise, etc., and its output is integrated by the circuit 55, expressed in terms of weight and displayed on a display part 56.
