PURPOSE:To effectively deactivate effluent water by a method in which an impact plate is provided in the face of effluent water in such a way as to cause the effluent water to flow out through the water channel below the impact plate after colliding on the impact plate, and a screen is provided on the downstream side of the impact plate. CONSTITUTION:An impact plate 14 consisting of a sloped portion 15 and a straight portion 16 is set in the face of an effluent port 13 with a jet flow gate 12. Jet stream discharged from the port 13 collides with the sloped portion 15 of the impact plate 14, flows down the straight portion 16, and passes through a water channel 17 formed in the deactivating tank 11 to become a considerably deactivated upward flow. The upward flow is further deactivated through many small holes of a screen 20 horizontally set and directed to a discharge path 19. |
