In the case of an earthing and short-circuiting device for multi-pole, bare lead systems having at least two rods (1) which are of identical construction, in each case carry a terminal (2), which can be attached to one of the conductors of the system, at their upper end and from whose lower end in each case one branch of an earthing and short-circuiting cable (26) leads to a node point (31) to which the one end of an earthing cable (30) is connected, the rods (1), which are produced from an electrically highly conductive material, consist of at least two sections (4, 5, 6) whose ends to be mechanically firmly and electrically conductively connected to one another are provided with one jaw or the other (7', 7") of a screw terminal (2).
