Electric angular resolver

An electric angular resolver for an electric adjustment or control device, such as for example natural gas, is proposed which is to be actuated by the accelerator pedal of a motor vehicle. The angular resolver (10) is to be simple in design and capable of being manufactured in a rational fashion taking into account the requirements placed on it. For this purpose, a signal generator shaft (12) which receives on a receptacle body (21) in each case one end of two restoring springs (26, 27) is inserted in a pot-shaped signal generator housing (16), which restoring springs (26, 27) are also inserted in the signal generator housing (16) and fixed with their other ends towards the signal generator housing. The open end side of the signal generator housing (16) is terminated by a housing cover (34). A potentiometer (38) with switching contacts (43) and with a slider (39) fitted onto the end (12d) of the signal generator shaft (12) is separated by the housing cover (34) from the space (37) of the signal generator housing (16) in which the mechanical elements of the angular resolver (10) are arranged. The angular resolver (10) can be used for motor vehicle drives by means of internal combustion engines or electric motors to the same degree (Figure 1).
