A green radial tire carcass manufd. by (i) transforming a cylindrical carcass ply into a wave-shaped corrugated carcass ply ; (ii) placing a pair of bead cores in the ply ; (iii) normalising the ply into its cylindrical shape; (IV) expanding the carcass ply; and (V) bending they ply around the base cores. After assembly of the cylindrical carcass layer, a toroidal shape is formed.The dimensional accuracy and increases productivity.
