VALUATING CHIP OF MICROCOMPUTER

PURPOSE:To simplify both development and evaluation of a program by providing a circuit style which can be set to an input/output circuit of a one-chip microcomputer and applying data which designates a circuit style in the same way as a case where a program is applied from outside. CONSTITUTION:A program to be valuated is written to an EP-ROM13, and the 8-bit data is stored to a prescribed address of the EP-ROM13 so as to set the styles of an input/output circuit 2, an output circuit 4 and an input circuit 5 so that they are equal to a circuit style that is set to a microcomputer. This 8-bit data is preset to a latch circuit 14 when a reset signal is impressed. Thus a circuit style is set before a program is executed.
