PURPOSE:To load accurately and securely a record carrier on a spindle for rotary drive at any time by providing a shaft body which is rotated by a specific angle associatively with the loading operation of a record carrier storage container and a presser member which is arranged at part of the shaft body and presses the loading part of the record carrier against a spindle by the rotation of the shaft body. CONSTITUTION:When the 1st shaft 17 is rotated as shown by an arrow J associatively with the loading operation of a cassette, a presser cam 16 rotates by 80 deg. from a line (p) to a line (q) and rotates by about 20 deg. before reaching a line (r). The presser cam 16 presses a center core 3 through its end part 16c in the pressing area between the lines to fit it on the spindle 6 of a sheet rotating motor 5. The presser cam 15 which is further rotated leaves the pressing area between the lines (q) and (r) to swivel by about 29 deg., and stops as shown by a dashed line (s). In this state, the spindle 3 is rotated at a specific rotating speed by the sheet rotating motor 5 together with a magnetic sheet 1 to perform recording or reproducing operation. |
