In order to analyse the sample of a solution according to the analysis method using fluorescent X-rays, a certain amount of the sample of the solution which is to be analysed is impregnated in a thin porous sheet, for example by the dripping method, and the sheet is dried so that the solvent evaporates. Placed on a suitable support, for example, the sheet is placed in a vacuum atmosphere or in a helium-gas atmosphere so that the primary X-rays are irradiated and it is possible to detect the wavelength or the intensity of the fluorescent X-rays generated from the solute which remains in the sheet. The concentration of the solution may be changed by a concentration or dilution so that it is possible to generate a suitable intensity of fluorescent X-rays. The sampler is made of porous laminar material which is impregnated with the sample of the solution it is desired to analyse and it is dried so that only the solute of the solution remains in the sheet. The circular edge of a support is joined to the circumferential edge of the sheet so that the central part of the porous sheet is sufficiently separated from the circumferentially formed support.
|
