PURPOSE:To weld a lead wire without melting a solder layer under a welding disk by a method wherein the lead wire clamped by a pair of welding electrodes is adhered with pressure on the welding disk, and a pair of earthing electrodes are adhered with pressure to the peripheral edge of the disk thereof. CONSTITUTION:The tip part of a lead wire 31 fed from a spool 30 is protruded downwards from the tip of a welding electrode pair 211, 212, and the lead wire 30 is clamped by the electrode pair 211, 212 in this condition. The electrode pair 211, 212 is pushed down according to energy of a spring 23 to make the tip of the lead wire 31 to adhere with pressure to the top surface of a welding disk 4, and moreover an earthing electrode pair 221, 222 is adhered with pressure to the peripheral edge part of the disk 4 according to energies of springs 241, 242. When a voltage is applied between the electrode pair 211, 212 and the electrode pair 221, 222, a welding current flows to the electrode pair 221, 222 passing the disk 4 from the tip of the lead wire 31, and welding of the lead wire 31 is attained. According to such a welding head, heat evolution according to the welding current can be concentrated to the tip of the lead wire 31. As a result, melting of a solder layer 3 is not generated. |
