PURPOSE:To enable the easy and highly-accurate correction of geometric distortion of a picture obtained from an airframe at the user side by correcting the geometric distortion by utilizing annotation data on an airframe from which picture data is obtained. CONSTITUTION:A distortion correction calculating circuit 4 corrects geometric distortion of picture data inputted from a picture data input part 1 and outputs it. The correction of the geometric distortion is to calculate centrosphere coordinates (geodetic coordinates) corresponding to a picture in accordance with picture data, annotation data and positiol data on the surface of the picture center inputted from the data input part 1. In accordance with the calculated result, projected coordinate conversion of an input picture into a centrosphere coordinate system is carried out. Picture data shown by the centrosphere coordinate system obtained in such a way can be obtained as a picture whose geometric distortion is corrected. |
