The clamping plug connection comprises at least one hollow section piece (8) and a plug part (1). A lug (2) of the plug part (1) is inserted at the end into the inner space of the hollow section piece (8). An elongated, clamp-shaped steel spring (3) is arranged on the lug (2). It has a protruding end section (5) which is pressed resiliently against the inside wall (10) of the hollow section piece (8). With this clamping plug connection, frameworks and lightweight trade-fair superstructures can be erected and taken down quickly and without any problems. <IMAGE>
