PURPOSE:To improve the strength of a tooth portion by projecting an engaging arm on the outer peripheral portion of an oscillating bevel gear and mounting a reinforcing rib thereon in a differential speed reduction gear comprising a rotary bevel gear and an oscillation bevel gear. CONSTITUTION:A differential speed reduction gear comprises a rotary bevel gear 1 and an oscillating bevel gear 2, wherein the oscillating bevel gear 2 has an engaging arm for stopping the rotation of the oscillating bevel gear 2, and a reinforcing rib 4 is formed integrally with the extending portion of the tooth. In this arrangement, though the engaging arm 3 interlocking with the speed reducing operation is subjected to pressure of the oscillating bevel gear 2, as the reinforcing rib 4 is integral with the extending portion of the tooth, the engaging arm has a strength higher than that of the tooth portion in the rotating direction and oscillating direction.
