PURPOSE:To prevent adverse effect onto other circuits by connecting a resistor in series with a ceramic oscillator so as to suppress the odd number order vibration and spurious vibration. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 51 is connected in series between one end E of the ceramic oscillator 14 and a connecting point B between a resistor 13 and a capacitor 16. Through the constitution above, an impedance RS2 of a series circuit comprising the ceramic oscillator 14 and the resistor 51 is higher than an impedance RS1 comprising only the conventional ceramic oscillator 14. Thus, the oscillation circuit is oscillated at the basic oscillation only by setting the resistance value of the resistor 51 to a prescribed value. That is, the relation between the mechanical quality coefficient Qm(R) of the ceramic oscillator 14 and the mechanical quality of a conventional oscillator Qm is expressed as Qm>Qm(R) by providing the resistor 51 in series with the ceramic oscillator 14 and the oscillation circuit is hardly oscillated at frequencies 22, 23 shown in Fig. by providing the resistor 51. |
