PURPOSE:To provide a titled dehydrator which dehydrates efficiently cake at a high rate in dehydrating a hydrous material while compressing said material between two sheets of endless filter cloths put and wound on rollers and traveling said filter cloths by providing means for spacing the traveling filter cloths in the mid-way and deforming, incising or collapsing the interposed material. CONSTITUTION:A hydrous material (m) is injected between two sheets of endless filter cloths 2, 5 put and wound on rollers and is grasped and dehydrated between two sheets of said filter cloths during traveling. The dehydrated material is discharged (n). A roller 27 which spaces one of the filter cloths is provided to at least one point between the traveling filter cloths. A rotating roller 28 for deforming, incising or collapsing the material (m) is disposed in the parted space thereof to change the hydrous material so that such material is pressed again between the filter cloths. The dehydration is much improved by such additional working and the cake (n) is dehydrated to the high rate not possible with the prior art. |
