PURPOSE:To obtain a biochemical analytical device which is inexpensive, small in size and easy to operate by performing discharge of a reagent and suction of a sample in reaction with the reagent through a discharge and suction port inserted into a reaction tube. CONSTITUTION:When the operator holds a reaction tube 2 contg. a serum sample and pushes a switch plate 16, a solenoid valve 4 and the 1st pump 5 are operated by the control of an arithmetic control means 12 and the reagent 6a in a reagent bottle 6 is discharged via a discharge nozzle 1a into the tube 2. The operator stirs thereupon the sample by shaking lightly the tube 2 for several seconds. A solenoid valve 8 and the 2nd pump 9 are operated by the control of the means 12 upon lapse of prescribed reaction time, by which the reactive sample in the tube 2 is sucked through a suction nozzle 1b into a flow cell 7b. The light absorbancy of the reactive sample in the flow cell 7b is measured in this state by the light emitted from a light source 7a and the result of the measurement is displayed on a display means 13 via the means 12. |
