PURPOSE:To attain vivid images and to improve capacities by using a thermoplastic resin extruded sheet, which is produced in a specific method, as a supporting body. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin A for a plarizing plate supporting body is used as the center layer, and the resin A and a non-adhesive thermoplastic resin B are used as outside layers, and three layers, at least, are extruded together. The value of retardation R of the center layer of the extruder sheet produced in this manner is <=20mmu, more desirably, 10mmu, and vivid images are attained if this sheet is used as the supporting body of a polarizing plate. |
