PURPOSE:To control fuel to be sufficiently vaporized and atomized in an engine over the whole range of its operation through a single fuel injection valve, by causing its injecting direction of the fuel to be changed in accordance with an operative condition of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A control device 44 generates an actuating signal by receiving a signal from a detecting part which detects the variation of a parameter changing in accordance with the operative condition of an engine such as intake negative pressure or the like. When the engine is driven in low loaded operation, the control device 44, generating a shutter valve closing signal and a first intake port- direction injecting signal respectively to an actuator, places a fuel injection valve 20 in a low load injection position, where it injects fuel in a direction L, by causing a shutter valve 16 to close a high load intake passage 14 whle an actuator bar 40 to move in a direction A. When the engine is driven in high loaded operation, the control device 44, generating a shutter valve opening signal and a partition wall-direction injecting signal, places the fuel injection valve 20 in a high load injection position in a direction H by causing the shutter valve 16 to open the high load intake passage 14 and the actuator bar 40 to move in a direction B. |
