PURPOSE:To obtain a multicolor copy with a simple equipment by piling a transfer sheet having a different color thermally sublimating dye layer on a screen formed by an ordinary electrophotographic method to selectively shift the dye with a thermal head. CONSTITUTION:A toner image 30 is formed on a plain paper 40 by an ordinary electrophotographic process employing a color toner containing a thermoplastic resin. Then, a transfer sheet 20 in which a thermally sublimating dye 202 different in the color from the toner image 30 is applied on a base paper 201 is piled on the image 30 with the dye 202 facing the image 20 and then, a part of the color toner image 30 is melted with a thermal head 21 while the thermally sublimating dye 202 is shifted to the melted part to color. Thus, a multicolor copy image is obtained. |
