PURPOSE:To extend the mechanical life of a cover, and to realize good operability by connecting an original holding cover and a fixing member by a freely turnable arm, and holding the cover in a prescribed opening through a detaining part and a holding part. CONSTITUTION:The base end of an original holding cover 12 and a fixing member 14 of an apparatus body 10 are connected by a freely turnable arm 13, a detaining part 22 for obstructing the rotation of the arm 13 is formed on the cover 12, and a holding part 25 for holding the cover 12 at a prescribed angle is formed on the fixing member 14. When the cover 12 is turned in the opening direction, the cover 12 and the arm 13 are turned in one body, and the cover 12 is held in a prescribed opening through the detaining part 32 and the holding part 25. Therefore, a bending stress is not applied especially to the turning part of the cover 12, and accordingly, a mechanical life is extended, and also good operability can be realized. |
