The marker body (1), which is manufactured in one piece from high molecular weight plastic, has at each of its sides facing the approaching traffic and in the region of the bumper level (A), a pronounced, concave curve (13), which is situated between a slender, upwardly projecting shaft part (12) having a signalling means, in particular a warning light (31), mounted on the head (30), and a pedestal-like foot part (11). The foot part (11) has an essentially rectangular outline whose narrow sides are arranged transversely with respect to the flow of traffic. The signalling faces (21) of the marker which bear adhesively bonded warning strips extend vertically in a concave manner and are designed so as to be outwardly curved in horizontal section. The marker head (30) has an axial recess (14) for the insertion of warning lights (31), and also a horizontal transverse slot (15) for inserting barriers. Provided in the foot part (11) of the open-bottomed and correspondingly stackable marker are a holder (41) for the light battery, as well as means for the insertion of weights, such as tubular sand bags, which increase the stability. <IMAGE> |
