PURPOSE:To set the relation of arrangement of a gap with high accuracy by arranging a fitting face of each head of a magnetic head incorporating a recording head and a reproducing head arranged in the magnetic head in parallel so as to make both the heads integral. CONSTITUTION:In the magnetic head device of multi-channel form with thin film, the recording head HR and the reproducing head HP have respectively a recording head main body 10HR and a reproducing head main body 10HP where plural head elements are arranged on each common base. The head main bodies 10HR, 10HP are incorporated with an integrated circuit 31 and a lead frame 32 attended with the head main bodies 10HR, 10HP by using resin mold bodies 2R, 2P. The mold bodies 2R, 2P have reference faces 3R, 3P and both faces 3R, 3P are bonded while clipping the magnetic shield plate 4. |
