CONSTITUTION:When a power source switch is turned on, a controlling circuit 1 checks the output potential E1 of a polarity detecting circuit 14 at that time, and stores whether it is H or L. When a telephone circuit L1 is high in potential, and L2 is low in potential, a photocoupler 15 conducts, and the output potential goes to H level, and in case of the reverse, the photocoupler goes to non-conduction and output potential goes to L level. When transmitting, the other party is called by a telephone set 10 and transmission is started when a facsimile equipment of the other party makes a reply. At this time, as the polarity of telephone circuits L1, L2 is reversed, the output potential of the polarity detecting circuit 14 is also changed. The controlling circuit 1 judges that present communication is outgoing side and an object of charging, and stores data of object to be charged in specified area of a memory.
