PURPOSE:A composition of ferrous and ferric salts that is prepared by adding a ferrous salt to an aqueous solution of a strong acid, further adding an alkali metal salt, thus showing high biactivity and ionization inhibition. CONSTITUTION:A ferrous or ferric salt such as ferric chloride is dissolved in an aqueous strong acid such as hydrochloric acid, then an alkali metal salt such as sodium chloride is dissolved in the resultant solution. The reaction mixture is filtered and concentrated to give the objective composition. USE:Water treatment, vegetable freshness preserver, antiseptic, waste water disposition, soil conditioning, ionization inhibition, antirusting and feed nutrient supplement. |
