VIDEO RECORDER PLAYBACK MACHINE

摘要

The recorder has a machine base supporting a high power writing laser whose beam is incident on a mirror mount assembly. A modulator subassembly yields a record optical beam repressentative of the video information. The subassembly has an electronic modulator producing a recording optical beam which is reflected onto a mobile optics carriage. The latter has a condensing lens focusing the beam onto a disk. The optics carriage is linearly movable by a carriage drive assembly to align a playback/record head with the beam. The disk is rotatably driven simultaneously with the carriage.
