PURPOSE:To smooth the wire insertion by obtaining the superior shape of cut edge by cutting an electrode wire in a moment by using a spark generator using a piezoelectric element and the flame cutting method by combustible gas, in the captioned apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid valve 43 is switched in a moment from the cutting-off position to the flow position on the figure, an air pressure is applied in a moment onto a piezoelectric element 41, and a voltage is induced, since an air piping 42 is applied with an air pressure when an electrode wire 2 is cut. The induced voltage is transmitted to a spark generating electrode 32 and generate a spark. While, the combustible gas in the gas piping 44 is jetted-out from an injection nozzle 37 installed in the vicinity of the spark generating electrode 32, by the switching of a solenoid valve 45 and catch the above-described spark, and the electrode wire 2 can be cut (fused cut) in a moment. Therefore, the cut edge part of the electrode wire 2 thus cut forms roundness, and the automatic insertion of the electrode wire 2 in the succeeding process can be performed smoothly. |
