PURPOSE:To provide a solid food composition containing specific amounts of branched-chain amino acid and protein, effective to maintain and promote the function of muscular motion, and takable easily by the elimination of the bitter taste of the branched-chain amino acid. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) a branched-chain amino acid (e.g. isoleucine), (B) a protein (e.g. soybean protein) and if necessary, (C) a sweetener (preferably alpha-L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester, etc.), etc. The amount of the amino acid in the composition is 2wt%, preferably 5wt%, and the weight ratio of the protein to the amino acid is preferably 3-30. |
