The wind turbine is intended for converting wind energy into other forms of energy, and consists of a horizontal rotor which is mounted rotatably on a mast and on which at least one wind-capturing blade is arranged, such that it can be set vertically and in an optimum fashion with respect to the approach-flow direction, in a manner capable of pivoting with respect to the rotor arm about a vertical axis. According to the invention, a support fork (5) which accommodates the pivoting shaft (4) of the wind-capturing blade (1) is arranged on the end (2) of the rotor arm (3) which supports the wind-capturing blade (1). The pivoting shaft (4) is arranged on the wind-capturing blade (1) fixed with respect thereto, and mounted rotatably with respect to the bearing eyes (6) of the fork (5). <IMAGE>
