A device for machining workpieces, in particular semicircular-arch frames, has a work table, a vertical column support, on the top support of which a horizontal extension arm is rotatably arranged, a travelling carriage arranged so as to be displaceable along the horizontal support, and a tool unit accommodated in a vertically adjustable manner by the travelling carriage. The extension arm consists of two arms which run diametrically from the centre in opposite directions to one another and of which each accommodates a separate tool carrier, both of which are displaceably arranged independently of one another on the respective extension arm and which have different tool units which are vertically adjustable and can be rotated through 360 DEG .
