PURPOSE:To reduce a voltage drop due to a rectifier by using a field effect transistor as a rectifier, and deciding the switching timing of the transistor by the voltage polarity of the output of an insulating transformer. CONSTITUTION:When the positive half wave of an AC voltage starts applying in a direction that the ''.'' side of a winding becomes positive to an insulating transformer 1, a polarity discriminator 12 outputs a negative rectangular voltage signal, and this voltage signal is supplied to the gate of an FET6. Accordingly, an FET6 is turned ON. Further, when a negative half wave of the AC voltage starts applying in the direction that the ''.'' side of the winding becomes negative to the transformer 1, a polarity discriminator 11 outputs a negative voltage signal, the output of the discriminator 12 becomes a positive voltage signal, the FET6 is turned OFF, and an FET7 is turned ON. |
